Orange County Deaf Advocacy Center
We are a non-profit organization that uses and believes in FOSS. Almost all of our machines run Ubuntu 7.04 and many of our clients receive computer skills training on Ubuntu systems. Our free computer program installs Ubuntu on all computers that are given away. We want Ubuntu and FOSS to spread to as many people as possible as that will lead to better software and in turn will benefit our clients.
We want to plan some events that will educate the public both about our services and about FOSS and the role it plays. We also want to encourage people to try out Ubuntu and other FOSS software for themselves and see how it meets their needs.
