Software on display
Ubuntu (http://www.ubuntu.com/) is the Linux distribution that was chosen by Dell to be installed on some of their computer. The latest version Ubuntu “Jaunty Jackalope” 9.04 is installed on all the computers of the CNF in Hanoi. It is available to users either in French (default), Vietnamese or English languages. People interested can ask for a free Ubuntu LiveCD (installable to the hard disk).
- Other distributions to be displayed : Puppy Linux, Hacao Linux, Fedora, Asianux, etc.
OpenDisc Vietnamese version : see http://www.theopendisc.com/ is a CD full of free software for windows if you haven’t decided to make the jump yet

- Flossmanuals : collaborative production and translation of manuals for FLOSS softwares

Contests
Game contest
The selected game for the 2009's SFD edition is: Biniax-2 and the First prize will be a 16 GB USB flash drive. The game competition will start in the afternoon at 2 pm. Registration for the competition has to be done during the morning.
