We are a 150 odd people based in Pune who use and base our work on stuff done by the Free Software Movement. We are huge users of Ubuntu and some of the popular variants.
Our website www.wikiocean.net is a work in progress. We hope to overhaul/extend the same in couple of weeks. Of course its a continuous process :).
While we hope to evolve an event looking at how various people are going about doing their events and planning things to that effort.
One of the things we would be definitely be doing is showing off people what free software can do, some specific applications, part of which would be some hosted web applications, business softwares as well.
There is also possibility of doing mock or real installfest if people do bring laptops or on systems depending on what flavour of Ubuntu they are looking for.
Looking for feedback for what else could be suggested or done. There are lots of beautiful packages and which ones to show and mention and which one not is always an issue.
