Software freedom day, 18 September 2009 at Stellenbosch

Software freedom day is a worldwide celebration of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and is aimed at creating an awareness about FOSS and its benefits. If you have any free time on the 18th of September, please join our group at http://groups.google.com/group/maties-sfd

Maties Open Source University meetup,and Stellenbosch University Linux User Group . http://students.ee.sun.ac.za/~solar/newsulug.jpg We will be exhibiting on Software Freedom day (18th of September 2009) in "die gat" in the Langenhoven (Neelsie) Student Centre.

Where: "Die Gat" in the Neelsie student Centre, Stellenbosch University Campus, Stellenbosch, South Africa.

When: From 11:00 onwards, on the 18th of September 2009.

What: How open source software can benefit you, the average Stellenbosch student. We'll have demo's, give aways and free help/advice. Bring your computer to the install fest to get the latest free open source software.
