hantWe are students of Engineering from SMVD University, Jammu & kashmir, India. We have a free culture here in university in terms of technologies and my university does every thing to support Open Source technologies.
Currently 320 computers in our labs run Solaris / Linux . We have courses on Linux/Unix and we have Java classes too. As a club, we do discuss, exhibit and contribute to open source. We have formed Sun Club an year ago. It is basically aimed at discussing technologies and opportunities for students . We co-ordinate in organizing classes, making utility softwares for our university and organizing various events.
