We held our first SFD celebrations in September 2006 and won the first prize for best event the same year. Our main objective at this event was to simply inform educate and let pepople have an understanding of SFD, FOSS and practical use/initiation in the use of FOSS.
This year our theme will be centered on Mentorship and encouraging people to be enthusiastic in FOSS
- development, administration and support. We are trying to make this our theme on FOSS for at least year. This does not however mean that we will do away with mentorship after the year is over. Mentorship will be ongoing but we are trying to make 2007/07 the year of mentrship.
We are proud to be associated with SFI and SFD!!.
