To celebrate Software Freedom Day, Hong Kong team chose to hold a seminar to educate the public about the use and advantages of free and open source software this year.
The seminar lasted for three hours and six speakers were honorably invited from various industrial fields representing HK government, University, Open Source Software Center, Debian Developer, Open Source Application Knowledge Association and Commercial firm- Uniforce System Ltd.

There were over two hundreds people participating in Software Freedom Day. More importantly, the message of Software Freedom could reach estimately one hundred thousands of people spreaded by our media sponsor- e zone as well as online media sponsor – JobsDB.com and Linux Pilot and other supporting organizations.
