Software Freedom Day event including an Install Fest and talks will be Saturday, September 16th starting at 5pm in the Little Wood River Room in the Pond Student Union Building (PSUB) at Idaho State University.

The Idaho State Linux Users Group will be hosting a Software Freedom Day celebration on Saturday, September 16 at 5:00 pm in the Little Wood room at the ISU Student Union Building. There will be a presentation on Open Source software, raffle prizes, free operating system CDs, and an install-fest. The award winning documentary, Revolution OS, will be shown, which tells the inside story of the hackers who rebelled against the proprietary software model and Microsoft to create GNU/Linux and the Open Source movement.
