Members of the Suncoast Linux Users Group (SLUG) are organizing these events for Software Freedom Day 2006.
Museum of Science and Industry
Location: Museum of Science and Industry, 4801 E Fowler Ave, Tampa, across from the USF Sun Dome. There is no charge for parking or access to the Software Freedom Day exhibit.
Date: Saturday, September 16, 2006
Time: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. (volunteers helping to set up, please arrive between 9 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.)

Volunteers will help out with the following:
explain the concept and advantages of Free Software
- distribute Free Software
- allow visitors to try programs, especially science-related Free Software
- invite visitors to attend SLUG meetings and/or join the e-mail list
Mirta's Art Gallery and Coffee House
Location: Mirta's Art Gallery and Coffee House, 119 S Hyde Park Ave, Tampa, 1/2 block from the University of Tampa. Parking and access to Software Freedom Day are free.
