Go Open Source will provide marketing support and is eagerly looking for volunteers to help out on the day. UWC will be there with Go-Open participating in the installfest, as well as setting up a community built cluster with clusterKnoppix. This is basically to show off to the "man in the street" that F/LOSS can be fun too, not limited to scary commandlines etc. We will be there the whole day, with a couple UWC team members rotating and helping out.

Fish hoek Ch AT tterbox is a new Internet Cafe located in Fish Hoek, and they are showing their support for open source by hosting an install-fest in their new cafe. If you are in the area and want to show support for both open source and the new Ch AT tterbox Internet Cafe then take your computer down or simply visit for some open source demonstrations.

Athlone Allicedale Primary will be celebrating software freedom day by openining their lab up and talking about UbuntuLinux, Impi Linux, open source accounting with Turbocash, Creative Commons, FSF, TSF and tuXlabs. Belthorne Primary, Garlandale Primary and Regina Coeli Primary are also planning events.
