The House Brazil Project (Projeto Casa Brasil) is an initiative of the Federal Government that brings together efforts of various ministries, public agencies, banks and state enterprises to take digital inclusion, citizenship, culture and entertainment to communities of low income. The "Casa Brasil FAMESC" is located in an very poor area of city Florianopolis, capital of the state of Santa Catarina, and has great difficulties in their projects viable by the serious lack of financial resources. Even so we want to join the Software Freedom Day, on September 20, with workshops and distribution of Ubuntu CDs to participants. The users community of Casa Brasil thanks heart of the consignment and promises to disclose how Canonical and Ubuntu support this event. |
